Mid-Breton Sediment Diversion

The Mid-Breton Sediment Diversion is the second sediment diversion currently in Engineering & Design. The project is a cornerstone of CPRA’s Coastal Master Plan. Located in Plaquemines Parish, the project has potential to bring incredibly important storm surge protection to coastal communities, rebuild critical wetland habitat for wildlife in Breton Sound basin, and support the local economy through job creation and increased sales.
